הבלוג הזה, למרות שמו "ליעם", הוא לא יומן רפואי על ליעם בלבד. הוא בעצם בור זבל שבו אני שופך את מה שעל הלב שלי - לפעמים. חשוב לי לציין שאני לא שירות חדשות וגם לא מנסה להיות פוליטיקלי קורקט עם כולם. אני לעולם לא מנסה לפגוע באף אחד, אבל האחריות על הקריאה היא על הקורא בלבד.

מבזק שני ליום שני
השיחת טלפון המיוחלת אכן הגיעה. ליעם תנותח ביום ששי ה-16 לחודש.
Since Chemi forwarded the link to Liam's blog a few days ago, I slowly reread (it's in Hebrew!) the entries. The image that always come to mind is the humour and immense capability for love of others and life of this little girl, Liam that I briefly met 6 years back. I remember a green fuzzy toy...was it a frog..was it a turtle. What does it matter. As a parent, I cannot fathom where you and Rachel get your strength and courage to helplessly witness Liam's pain. Gros courage mes chers amis - writing in English or Hebew doesn't seem to convey the same meaning. I pray that the surgery will bring back sparkles to Liam's eyes and the playful smile to her lips.
